ABOUT
Band members Michael Bronson, Doug Traxler and Burt LeJune met in 2004. We quickly became friends through our love of and joy in music. We have shared music together for over a decade, and love to cover artists from yesterday (Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Beatles …) and today (Coldplay, Housefires, Pat Barrett …). Our bonds of friendship are deeply rooted. Together we have experienced all the circumstances that life can muster – our connection to each other and our enjoyment of music remains.
Our hope is to play classic songs in a way that perhaps allows people to hear a song in a new and fresh way, and to connect with it again.
Burt LeJune
(and Lisa)
Burt is a Texas native and has traveled the US and Europe with the popular group Up With People, and worked with Geffen Records – even building Axl Rose’s home recording studio … not a bad start to a career. Now Burt spends time with his two wonderful daughters and wife Lisa in Northern Virginia. He also shares his musical abilities with the worship group Work In Progress, Donaldsons’ Run and the Musical Enrichment Society. Burt brings a great ear to his musical rhythms on both acoustic and electrical guitar, and his vocals add just the right touch to any song.
Michael Bronson
(and Patricia)
Michael has been playing guitar and bass in the DC/Metro area for over 25 years. He’s quite accomplished in his craft and enjoys playing a wide range of musical styles including Blues, Jazz, Rock, and Country music. He played guitar with the original band Learn Again Sunday from 1990–1994. He plays lead guitar for the Richard Walton Group and is a member of Vienna Presbyterian Church in VA where he plays & worships on a regular basis. Michael is a masterful musician and brings oodles of talent to every situation.
Doug Traxler
(and Holly)
Doug played in various bands in the midwest during the 70’s and 80’s including Deuce, a 5-man rock cover band. During college he played various Coffee House and small venue gigs. Coming back to music via some great friendships within the Musical Enrichment Society (MES) in the early 2000’s, Doug has played contemporary Christian music for the past 15 years with Work In Progress, and spends time singing and leading worship at various churches and events throughout northern Virginia, including his dear friends at the MES. Doug uses his sweet vocals and musical gifts to express every note with style.
